Is it a clean break Damo?
Screws, plates etc?
With no complications it takes about 10 weeks to heal properly at that age - but heal it will.

Thanks lads, it's the recovery that worries me at over 70. Appreciate the kind words.

Yea my mum is in hospital and need to go and spend some time with her visiting isn't until 3pm

He probably has to tend to his Mrs and can't bugger off to go Leigh Jim don't think its about having noone to sit with.
His excuse is as good as any to not go to be fair.
